Ariana Grande’s first AMA win occurred at last night’s award show, taking home Artist of the Year.
Ariana also took home awards for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Album for her 13th studio album “Sweetener.” “There was nobody [my fans] were feeling more last year than I did,” Ariana said. “I’m really thankful to have those voices in my life and for them to mean everything to me.”

Since Taylor Swift was the AMA of the year, it wasn’t surprising that she walked away with a number of awards last night. But her “I Did Something Bad” speech surprised people.
“I really, really, really want to thank our peers who have stood with us for a long time,” Taylor told the crowd. “I love my fans so much! This has been the greatest year of my career. I’m telling you, I just had the best time. I can’t believe this. Every award is in the heavens. Thank you guys so much.”
